Our Story
Triumph Heritage Farm is dedicated to sound genetics, sustainable food production and mycology. Located in Cambridge Minnesota on 80 acres adjacent to the Rum River, the farm has 57 acres of pasture and 23 acres of woodland. Recent projects include fencing new pastures, turning an old summer kitchen into a dog house (Alphonse’s Summer Palace) and working on restoring the land after it was used minimally for goats and horses in the past few decades.
When I purchased the farm in 2022, it was covered in old projects from the previous owners. I removed 10 30 yard dumpsters and a few old, falling down buildings to create more space for my own projects. I also emptied out the barn and an old garage / goat house and run that became the “Truffle House”.
My animals came to the farm in the summer in 2022. First, Cleopatra, Adelaide, Sophie and Eike with Truffle in tow. A few short weeks later, Kiwi, Kamila and Rain arrived. At the end of the summer, Blondie and her four boys (Ham, Spam, Bam, and Sam) moved into the Truffle House.
In the summer of 2023, Alphonse came home followed by Colette during Halloween. I continued to work on cleaning up the land and applying for grants for fencing, water lines and maintaining the pasture and forestland. The farm is still a work in progress but new orchards, a market garden and additional pastures are all underway.
In addition to the farm, I work in Biotech, specifically in the rare disease space. I have a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and I find the time spent on the farm to be an absolutely wonderful gift and so peaceful. I also love eating and am specifically focused on small scale, very high quality food production.
