Genevieve the livestock guardian available for sale

Genevieve

DOB: 04/05/2024

Genevieve loves to play in the water and chase a ball. She is generally quite calm but still active for guarding. She would do well in a home with other dogs or a home with a fenced yard where she can run. She is very affectionate and loves to be pet and snuggled. Genevieve has been trained with livestock but not poultry. Mini pigs and cows have been her specialty. She has littermates that went to a farm with poultry and took to it well!

Genevieve is from Cleopatra and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. Rehoming fee is $150.

Livestock Guardians

These dogs all have direct livestock experience. They are likely not as well suited to the life of being a companion. They would be happiest with acreage where they can have a job and fulfill their instinctual role.

Peregrine - SOLD

DOB: 04/05/2024

Peregrine is feisty and would be an amazing guardian or companion to someone who will give him exercise. He loves to be pet and interacted with. If you let him, he would love to be a lapdog. As he has started to grow up, he is settling into a calm boy with strong working instincts. Overall, he is an absolute sweetheart. He loves to have littermates. He is crate trained though he prefers to spend as much time outside as possible.

Parry (as he is called) is from Cleopatra and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. Rehoming fee is $150.

Clement the livestock guardian available for sale

Clement

DOB: 04/05/2024

Clement is the best livestock guardian available. He has Alphonse calm demeanor and Cleopatra’s aptitude for the work. Clement has a stockier build but is quite tall. Clement has proven success as a livestock guardian, defending animals from coyotes and small predators, though he did sustain one small puncture wound that is now healed. Despite his setback, he was eager to return to guarding while he finished his treatments.

Clement is from Cleopatra and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. Rehoming fee is $150.

Isabel the livestock guardian available for sale

Isabel

DOB: 04/05/2024

Isabel is small and nimble. She has a more petite build than the rest of her littermates. She will likely be 80 - 90 pounds in adulthood, slightly shorter than Genevieve or her other littermates. Isabel is more shy when introduced to new livestock but after a quick warming up period, she took well to working with cattle and mini pigs. One cow had a particular interest in grooming her which was scary to younger puppy. However, she is now ready for work!

Isabel is from Cleopatra and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. Rehoming fee is $150.

Companion Animals

These dogs are more appropriately suited to the life of companionship. While this does not mean they cannot be livestock guardians, their affectionate nature means they would be happiest in environments where they get more human interaction. Hobby farms may be a good fit for them.

Lucia the Great Pyrenees available for adoption

Lucia

DOB: 5/26/2024

Lucia is a daughter of Colette and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. Lucia is the sweetest puppy you will ever meet! She loves belly rubs, walks, snuggles and naptime. She is active and loves to be where her humans are. Lucia is brave but would likely be a better companion. She is treat motivated has learned the Christmas treat jar is her favorite spot to be for photos. She is the smallest puppy in her litter but she has a big personality! Her best friend Agnes, listed to the right, is 5 weeks younger than her but the same size. It is likely that Lucia will be on the smaller size, possibly 70 - 80 pounds as an adult Great Pyrenees. Lucia is current on all vaccinations including Leptospirosis, Bordetella, rabies, lyme, and DAPP. She has tested negative for parasites and is on preventatives. Her rehoming fee is $300.

Ambrose the Great Pyrenees available for adoption

Ambrose

DOB: 5/26/2024

Ambrose is from Colette and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. He is the sweetest boy with the stockiest build like his sire. Ambrose would love to be a house dog and made this known through gentle asks at the door. He is crate trained. Ambrose loves to snuggle up with his humans or lay around during virtual meetings. He is lower energy than some of his littermates. Ambrose has his sire’s coat - it is very curly and fluffy, giving him the appearance of being substantially wider than he actually is. Underneath all the fluff is a gentle and loving boy who adores ear scratches and playing with small balls. He has some livestock exposure with mini pigs but has primarily been living as a house dog. Ambrose recently discovered that all of his favorite toys come in bark boxes every month and radiates joy when he sees the new boxes arrive. His rehoming fee is $300 and includes his limited AKC registration.

Agnes the Great Pyrenees available for sale

Agnes

DOB: 6/28/2024

Agnes is the daughter of Adelaide and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. She is the smallest girl in the litter but she has a big personality! She loves to explore. She is quite a bit smaller than the other girls - her dam had 10 puppies and even with supplemental feedings and a big tummy, she has always been a little petite queen! I would expect that she will be at least 70+ pounds in adulthood. She is very brave compared to her littermates and likes to be where the action is. She is currently living with her best friend Lucia, pictured with her. If possible, they would be happiest going to a new home together. Agnes is current on all vaccinations including Leptospirosis, Bordetella, rabies, lyme, and DAPP. She has tested negative for parasites and is on preventatives. Her rehoming fee is $300.

Ira is a son of Adelaide and Alphonse of Triumph Heritage Farm. Ira has all of his dam’s sweet and gentle temperament. He does love to play and being interacted with. Ira’s ideal afternoon is a hard play session with other dogs and a nap under a tree. He has had exposed to mini pigs and cattle, though he is likely better suited to the life of companionship or a small hobby farm. He would be happiest in a home with other dogs that he can play with or a large yard where he can run. Ira is current on all vaccinations including Leptospirosis, Bordetella, rabies, lyme, and DAPP. He has tested negative for parasites and is on preventatives. His rehoming fee is $300.
